6 day Arnold, push, pull, legs, two of the most optimal and widely known workout splits, three days each, both targeted at producing the most muscle possible, and each muscle group twice a week. This is the ultimate split for hypertrophy. Designed to be run three days on, one day off as a rest day, this program allows for the most recovery and rest time between reworking a single muscle group. This can be run as a six day continuous split as well with a single rest day at the end. By pairing chest and back we can prioritize two large muscle groups and put one first as the overall focus on that day. The standalone arms and shoulders day will help with lagging arms and rear delt development. Each day focuses on a specific movement pattern or overall set of muscles. Push day has a focus on chest, triceps, and shoulders. Pull has a focus on back, biceps, and rear delts. Legs is an overall legs focus with abs in there as well.
