5 day Arnold, upper, lower. The Arnold split, made famous by Arnold Schwarzenegger, has come back in popularity recently as it allows for the prioritization of lagging body parts. By pairing chest and back we can prioritize two large muscle groups and put one first as the overall focus on that day. The standalone arms and shoulders day will help with lagging arms and rear delt development. Since the Arnold split is a solid three day split, an extra leg day and full upper body day are added on as the science says working a muscle group twice each week will give the best results in terms of muscle building.
